Need a place to work or want to feel welcomed to the community? Join us downtown for coffee, food, demos, wifi, programming and community at Basecamp.

This will be the central spot where a lot of the organizers and community evangelists will be hanging out so if you want to meet some great new people come down and hang out. There will be lots of swag, surprises, meetups, and more!

Wednesday Basecamp starts at 10am, and is sponsored by the Public Safety Communication Research (PSCR) lab!  Come check out the PSCR information table to find out about their current Open Innovation Challenges and Prizes, through which companies and individuals can obtain funding to develop cutting edge technologies that impact the lives of first responders.  You can also vote for the VR competition and help choose which VR proposal gets funded next by PSCR.  Thanks, PSCR!
  • 11am-2pm: You know those Japanese rice balls with deliciousness in the center? Well, Rice Works makes them and will be demonstrating the creation process (as well as giving away their goodies on Tuesday and Wednesday).
  • 11am-2pm: Wendy Theall, owner of One Body Therapeutics, will provide 15-minute chair massages. Stop by Basecamp to sign up!
