Jesse describes himself as a family man, a thinker, an advocate of entrepreneurs and a total geek.  Having grown up in an entrepreneurial family, Jesse can’t help but appreciate and promote the entrepreneurial spirit in others.  He understands the dedication it takes to build something great out of nothing. At one point or another, Jesse has been a pizza maker, clerical worker, sandwich maker, paint crew manager, IT specialist, data analyst, international traveler, research assistant, Antarctic explorer, postdoctoral researcher, Stanford professor, startup founder, startup mentor, and startup investor.

Jesse founded a startup studio in Boulder, Colorado, where he and his family live. As CEO of Boulder Bits, Jesse uses his creative skill set to find or invent ideal solutions to important problems. He validates those solutions as startup projects and assembles teams to execute on them.  Boulder BITS then funds these startup teams and supports them.
