Julia Hedges has an M.Ed. TESOL and has been an ESL teacher, teacher trainer, and consultant throughout the Middle East, Brazil, and the United States. She has trained teachers in eight countries on the best pedagogical practices.  Currently, she serves on the Colorado TESOL Board as the Teacher Education/Action Research SIG co-chair. Her professional interests include ways of making classrooms more student-driven and using Computer Assisted- Language Learning (CALL) to supplement lessons and engage learners.
