I'm the founder of Centered Chef, a culinary consulting firm specializing in culinary wellness. My firm administers cooking and nutrition-based programming targeting both employee and patient populations. I am also noted as the "First-Ever Consulting Chef for Weight Watchers", which since 2014, still exists as a strategic partner to this day. Centered Chef works with insurance carriers and hospital systems to empower targeted populations with a better understanding of nutrition and its implications on their personal health, using thoughtful cooking tutorials as the delivery mechanism.
My experience encompasses 13 years as an innovator, subject matter expert and media spokesperson in the culinary health and wellness field. This industry that has finally morphed into a sustainable field, and since my entry during its infancy, I've been relentlessly and successfully experimenting to maximize its potential.
What started as Chicago's first healthfully prepared meal service in Chicago, Centered Chef morphed into a wellness-based catering company. Eventually, we then morphed into a recreational cooking school and corporate wellness training center which took the form of "teaching people to fish".
In the last few years, our concept has matured into its current form and function as a wellness-based consulting company, based out of Denver. No longer limited by the boundaries of "bricks and mortar" we facilitate culinary inspired nutritional programming using a variety of platforms, targeting corporations' employees and hospitals' patients to better navigate personal wellness with our educational solutions.
