He has led creative work for brands like Bud Light, Audi, The North Face, Instagram, Oakley, Callaway Golf, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Jim Beam brands, Valspar Paint and Otterbox to name a few.
Blake’s a champion of integrated ideas. He’s been internationally-recognized by nearly every major award show in the industry including Cannes, Clios, London International Festival, New York Festival, Mobius, Effies, Addy and the Obies to name a few. At Y&R Chicago Blake won Clios for his work on the “Sears. Where Else?” campaign that was recognized as the Retail Campaign of the Year by Advertising Age. Blake also won several Clios for his “There’s a place for people like you” campaign for “The Great Indoors.” His “Powershares” TV spot “Big Idea” was named to Creativity’s “top 5” spots. His “Valspar Paint” campaign has been a finalist for the “Kelly Awards” several years in a row and also won at the New York Festivals as one of the best integrated campaigns internationally. Last years holiday package design work for Einstein Bros. Bagels was featured in Communication Arts Design Annual.
Blake has been honored to judge some of the most prestigious international awards shows. He was the sole US representative in the Press category at the Cannes Advertising Festival, Grand Jury for the New York Festivals for integrated work, the Addy’s and others. Blake has been featured in such magazines as Communication Arts, AdAge, Adweek, Shots, Photo District News, Boards and Print’s Design Annual.
