Brett is a co-founder and Managing Director of v1.vc, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Boulder, CO. Previously, Brett has been an entrepreneur, active angel investor and limited partner in small venture funds. In 2002, he got his start as an early employee and angel investor at Crocs, Inc (NASDAQ: CROX). He then founded and was CEO of Generation Think Tank, a digital marketing consultancy until he ultimately shut the business down after a few years. Since 2007, Brett has served on the Board of Directors and was previously an early employee and Vice President of Business Development of AVX Aircraft, an aerospace company that designs and builds vertical takeoff and landing aircraft based in Fort Worth, TX. In addition to business activities, Brett also had the honor of serving as Chairman of The Q Fund, a 501-(c)3 non-profit and school in Ndola, Zambia for over 5 years.
